Since 2018 Beatrice has been Dean of the Positive Business Chair, Paris Nanterre University. She has been working on the theme of the environment in management sciences for more than 15 years. Her research first focused on the environmental management systems of ISO, then on the product approach in eco-design and today Beatrice's center of work is on sustainable business models and particularly the economy of functionality. Moreover, her research concentrates on responsible consumption, consumer empowerment, sustainable management and creating value with environmental and social product quality. Her academic degrees are Ph D. in Management Sciences from Lille University and MBA in Marketing, IAE Lille. |
![]() Ewa Konczal - CEE Manager, European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA)
Ewa has beeen spreading knowledge about venture philanthropy and social investment in CEE for more than 5 years with EVPA. She manages the first Polish VP Fund Valores, inititiative of PE community in Poland. Morevover, Ewa has over 15 years of experience in social entrepreneurship as Representative of Ashoka in Poland and as Ashoka Director for Central and Eastern Europe. Prior Ashoka, Ewa worked in India with Global March Against Child Labor, and in Egypt with AIESEC and Egyptian-Polish Businessman Association. She has set up the Magic Mountain Foundation, using mountain sports and natural horsemanship as tools for change for people with disadvantages. Ewa is the recipient of the AIESEC Alumni Entrepreneurship & Leadership Award. Has Master is in Marketing and Management. |
![]() Aurelie Rompler - Founder and CEO at the Creative District
Graduated from La Cambre in 2011, Aurélie Rompler obtained an Environmental Design Master’s degree, specialised in Urban Spaces. She started as a project manager in the cultural sector, in connection with international foundations and public-private institutions. In 2012, she became a cultural entrepreneur by creating an artistic platform and a year later she co-founded Creative District - a company composed of two sections including the revitalization of vacant spaces in urban and rural areas to revive them and (re)create an economic activity as well as the incubation of projects with societal values and local anchorage, by creating spaces of interaction, socialization and innovation in which a creative ecosystem develops. Through Creative District, Aurélie has revitalized more than 11500m², managed 8 major urban areas in Brussels, hosted companies in residence & co-working, accompanied cultural and social entrepreneurs, brought together more than 152,000 people in networking, and organized more than 500 activities and events. She is called for her expertise as a cabinet director for a Brussels municipality, particularly affected by the events of 2016. She is developing a programme for the urban economic structure’s expansion by implementing projects of entrepreneurship and social economy, as a strategic lever for sustainable development. |
![]() Blazhka Dimitrova - Founder of the first zero-waste restaurant in Bulgaria Blagichka`s kitchen - a kitchen with a cause.
Blazhka is undoubtedly one of the agents of good. A passionate social entrepreneur immediately after graduating from university, she started as a teacher in the 'Teach for Bulgaria' programme, she also developed an academy for children entrepreneurs, and a few years ago she launched "Blagichka - Cuisine with Cause" - a catering company in which young people with disabilities and disadvantaged people work, aiming to NOT throw away rubbish. Among her latest projects is the Zero Waste - Bulgaria Association, which, with various initiatives and trainings aimed at the general public, private businesses and institutions, promotes the reduction of waste that we recklessly create in everyday life. Blazhka was also a Teacher at Teach for Bulgaria - non-governmental organization with the mission to provide equal access to high-quality education to every child in Bulgaria and a Mentor at Step for Bulgaria Foundation, supporting the development of Bulgaria's socially and economically disadvantaged youth. |

Dr. Marina Stefanova is one of the founders and Business Development Manager at the Kauzi Foundation. She has Master of Law from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski " and holds additional qualifications in "Business Management" and "Administrative Management" from the Faculty of Economics. She has a specialization "Introduction to English and European Law" at Cambridge University (UK). Marina is a social entrepreneur and an inspiration for the idea of a Youth Entrepreneurship Marketplace and a long-term trainer of the participants. She is actively involved in international projects as an expert, lecturer and evaluator of business and social entrepreneurial projects and ideas. |
![]() Hristo Boyadzhiev - founder TUK-TAM Partnership, Co-founder Scholarship Fund
Hristo is a highly energetic business leader who until recently combined his role as CEO of a leading digital agency with his passion for social entrepreneurship & education. In 2008, he co-founded Tuk-Tam which is now the largest community of Bulgarians with international experience, dedicated to reversing brain drain. In 2014 he started another NGO called Foundation III which organizes Parent Academy, the biggest educational event for young parents. He is now entirely dedicated to the two nonprofit organizations. Hristo is a graduate of the ESADE Business School in Barcelona and the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington DC. He is also a passionate photographer, traveler and mountaineer, having visited all 7 continents and summited three and a half of the Seven Summits. He maintains a photo blog about his travels. |

Thomas is an accomplished fund manager, banker, economic development professional and social entrepreneur. He is a partner at Empower Capital and a professor of social entrepreneurship at the American University in Bulgaria, as well as an early stage social impact investor. Thomas initially came to Bulgaria in 1993 as an MBA Enterprise Corps Volunteer, sponsored by USAID, and was assigned to work for the Bulgarian-American Enterprise Fund (BAEF), where he later became Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer. |

Tsvetelina Tsvetanova is President of the Balkan Institute for Sustainable Development and CEO of Sofiakoncept. Initiates and coordinates Balkan countries such as the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Northern Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of implementation of UN commitments and more precisely the implementation of Plan 2030. It mobilizes stakeholders in the Balkans to develop and promote the first White Paper on circular economy and sustainable development in the Balkans. World Expert in Sustainable Development, and most importantly, the fulfillment of the 2030 plan goals. He participated in the preparation of reports on good practices in the Francophone countries as well as his presentation at the Yerevan 2018 summit. In his role as Business Club Director France has worked in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, social and solidarity economy with about 300 representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. |

Simeon S. Stoilov is a strategic consultant in sustainable development, aiming to make progressive know-how accessible across continents. Simeon Stoilov has experience in various business fields and has served on the boards of Bulgarian and international companies. Mr. Stoilov served as The Consul General of Bulgaria in Chicago between 2011 and 2016 where he was responsible for overseeing 14 U.S. states dealing with a variety of issues including bilateral trade and investment, technology and innovations transfer, social and community initiatives. He is the co-founded of a consulting company and the Green Globe Alliance, both dedicated to innovation application and transition to sustainable industrial, agricultural and community practices for a better and healthy future. |

Milena Koleva is Director of Knowledge, innovation and strategies management club (KISMC). She holds an MBA degree from HULT International Business School, Boston (MA) and has over ten years of experience in innovation management consulting and training. She worked as a management consultant with the Center for Innovation, Excellence and Leadership (IXL Center) in Boston – one of the leading consulting firms in innovation management. She has worked on various projects for enhancement of the innovation capacity of small and large companies, including Fortune 500. Since 2014 she is one of the founders of the Innovation Management Academy in Bulgaria – a brand for strategic cooperation between business-university-research. She is currently pursuing her PhD in ICT with focus on Innovative educational methods, technologies and approaches. She is managing several Erasmus+ KA2 projects in these fields. |

Yuri Valkovski is the Managing Director of Reach for Change Bulgaria, which since 2014, together with the New Broadcasting Group, has been supporting social entrepreneurs working for the benefit of children and young people in Bulgaria. He has 20 years of experience in the non-governmental sector in Bulgaria and Europe - Director of the Bulgarian Festival Association, Funding Manager at the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation, member of the Strategic Group of the European Initiative "Soul for Europe" and others. Since 2004 he has been teaching the management of non-governmental organizations and cultural management. In 2014, he was named one of the 40 young European leaders under 40. |
